What is toastmasters?
Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organisation that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
Basically, it’s a place where people want to improve their public speaking and leadership skills.
YoUR FIRST TIME AT A TOASTMASTERS MEETING?
So you’ve decided to attend a Toastmasters meeting. Maybe you are job searching and want to brush up some skills. Maybe you are launching your own business and have realised that being able to influence and persuade will win you even more clients.
Whatever the reason—congratulations! You are taking the first step to improving your communication and leadership skills.

Can I attend as a guest for free?
Yes. Guest visits are free! You are welcome to attend and observe as a guest as many times as you like before becoming a member. Guests also do not have to pay for supper.
Will I have to speak as a guest?
There is no expectation to speak as a guest. But if you are up for the challenge, we are sure you will not regret it.
When and where are meetings held?
Meetings are held every second Wednesday from 6:15PM to 8:30PM.
We are located inside the St Marks Anglican Church at 95 Remuera Road.

Is there a difference between toastmasters international and toastmasters?
No. Toastmasters International is the governing body for all Toastmasters clubs.
